Just finished a full rollout to our sales team. The marketing promises "unified endpoint security" but the reality is a suite of tools that don't always talk to each other as cleanly as you'd hope. If you're considering it for a similar non-technical user base, here are the friction points.

The cloud console is powerful, but the learning curve is steep. Our sales reps hit two immediate walls:
* **Initial scans crippled performance.** Deploying with default policies meant full scans kicked off during key selling hours. Had to quickly build exceptions for CRM/video conferencing apps and schedule scans for off-hours. This isn't mentioned enough.
* **The UI/terminology gap.** Explaining "sensor" health vs. "policy" violations to a rep who just wants their laptop to work is a daily task. The mobile app is basically just for alerts, which caused confusion—they can't actually *do* much from it.

Integration and reporting also have quirks. The API is robust but rate-limited, which slowed our automation pulling asset data into our own dashboard. Also, the out-of-the-box reports are too generic for leadership. We had to build custom ones to show risk scores by department, which took more time than expected.

Biggest lesson? Your rollout plan needs a dedicated "user experience" phase for non-IT staff. The tech works, but default settings are built for security teams, not sales. You will spend weeks tuning policies to balance security with their ability to actually do their jobs.
