Everyone pushes detection rates. Few talk about the operational drain of false positives. More alerts just means more busywork for your team, not more security.
Based on last year's deployment for a 500-seat environment: GravityZone was noticeably noisier, especially on legacy LOB apps. Had to create a ton of manual exclusions. CrowdStrike's ML seemed more tuned to behavior over static signatures, resulting in fewer "what is this?" moments. Their sensor is lighter, so when it alerts, you pay attention. Bitdefender's dashboard might show you "more" catches, but a lot of it is junk. You're buying an analyst's time to sift through it.
