We just switched a small team of 10 from Tailscale to Banyan. Our main goal was the easier onboarding for non-tech people.
But right away, everyone is noticing that connections feel slower. Accessing our internal tools and even file shares has a noticeable lag now. It wasn't like this before.
Is this normal? I'm checking our gateway region settings and they seem right.
Maybe there's a specific config we missed? Or is this just the tradeoff for the more managed service? Kinda frustrating when the main selling point was simplicity, but if it's slow, people won't want to use it 😕
