Okta vs Auth0 vs Ping - which for a mid-market B2B SaaS?

Hi everyone, new here and trying to learn! 😅

We’re a mid-market B2B SaaS looking at a new identity provider. We’ve outgrown our basic setup. I’ve been reading about Okta, Auth0, and Ping Identity. Honestly, the differences are a bit confusing to me.

Our main needs are: SSO for our web app (for customers), maybe some basic social logins, and securing an internal admin panel. We don't need anything super complex yet. I see Okta and Auth0 are both from the same company now? Does that mean they're merging?

Could someone explain, in simpler terms, the practical differences for a company our size? Like, which one is easier to get started with for a team that's more comfortable with CRM setup than deep code? Any gotchas on pricing?
