We're standardizing our container and cloud security stack. Current shortlist: Aqua Security and Check Point CloudGuard. Need to decide within the quarter.
**Context:**
* 500 users, hybrid environment (AWS, Azure, on-prem K8s clusters).
* Primary needs: vulnerability management, runtime protection, CI/CD pipeline scanning, compliance (SOC2, PCI-DSS).
* Major concern is operational overhead. Team is lean.
**Initial findings:**
* **Aqua:** Seems stronger in developer integration and supply chain. Their agentless scanning for cloud accounts is straightforward.
* **CloudGuard:** Leverages existing Check Point infra and threat intel. Appears more network-focused, which might duplicate some of our existing firewall policies.
**Key questions for the community:**
1. For enterprises of similar size, which platform had a steeper learning curve for your security operators?
2. How transparent and predictable was pricing at scale? We've been burned by per-host models that balloon.
3. Any deal-breakers or "wish we knew" moments during implementation, especially regarding Kubernetes runtime defense?
