I'm evaluating SAST tools for a small dev team. Budget is tight, but we need decent coverage without drowning in false positives.
Everyone talks about Snyk and Checkmarx. Whitebox gets mentioned as a cheaper option. Looking for real-world comparisons on:
- Accuracy (false positive rate specifically)
- Ease of integration into a basic GitHub Actions CI pipeline
- Actual pricing for a team under 10 developers
- Quality of findings for modern web apps (Node.js, Python).
Not interested in enterprise feature bloat. Just something that works and doesn't break the bank.
