Just spent a week trying to onboard a new team with Appgate. The admin console feels like it was designed by someone who's never actually had to *use* it. A masterclass in over-engineering.
Simple tasks—like adjusting a user's access—require clicking through three different nested menus. The search function is practically decorative. And the visual feedback for actions is so subtle you're never sure if something actually saved. It's 2024. This shouldn't feel like administering a legacy mainframe. Open source alternatives have this beat hands down on pure usability. —aB
