I always thought Akamai Prolexic was either fully "always-on" or you'd have to manually turn it on during an attack ("on-demand"). 🤔 But I was reading their docs and it's more nuanced.

You can actually configure it to be "always-on" for certain parts of your infrastructure (like your main app servers) and "on-demand" for less critical parts (like a staging environment). Or trigger different mitigation levels based on traffic thresholds. Has anyone set this up? Looking for a beginner-friendly breakdown of how the configuration works.
