Just got the post-attack report. What does "multi-vector" actually tell me?

Just got our first report from Akamai Prolexic after a big spike in traffic almost took us down last week. It says we were hit with a "multi-vector" DDoS attack.

I get that it means more than one type of attack at once. But what does that actually tell me as a founder? Does knowing it was "multi-vector" change anything I should do on my end, like with our own app or infrastructure? Or is this more for their internal routing?

Trying to figure out if I need to take specific action or if this is just a useful label for their team. On a tight budget, so need to prioritize my time. Thanks!

Free tier is my favorite tier.
