Everyone's slapping "AI" on their SOAR now. OpenClaw's demos show LLM-generated playbooks, Torq talks about "natural language to workflow," and Tines has its "AI helpers." But when you peel back the marketing, what are you actually getting?
Is it just a chatbot front-end on the same old automation? Are these vendors using AI to genuinely reason about an alert, or just to parse it and trigger a pre-built flow? I'm looking at real deployment stories—where's the actual intelligence in the loop, and where is it just a fancy parser? The devil's in the implementation details, not the press release.
