Okay, I need to get this off my chest. I've been a huge 1Password advocate for years, both personally and at my agency. We recently switched to the Business plan, and overall, it's solid for team management and vault control.

But the way they handle family accounts now? It feels like a clunky, afterthought upsell.

Here's my gripe: Instead of a clean, integrated family plan option within the Business dashboard, it's an 'add-on' you have to purchase separately. You get a link to send to family members, but it operates as a totally separate account system. This creates friction and confusion.

* **No Shared Billing:** I have to manage two separate invoices and payment methods. For a tool built on simplicity, this is a step backwards.
* **Admin Overhead:** My team's account and my family's account are in two different 'universes'. I have two different master passwords to remember for admin purposes.
* **Missed Integration Opportunity:** Why can't I easily share a specific vault from my business account to a family member in a read-only mode for an emergency? The wall between the two feels artificial.

It's clear this structure is designed to push Business users to pay for two full subscriptions. I'd happily pay a *reasonable* premium to attach, say, 5 family seats under my Business umbrella with unified management. The current method just feels messy and revenue-driven rather than user-experience driven.

Am I alone here? Has anyone found a smoother way to handle this, or are we all just dealing with the separate logins?

Billy
