Just spotted the announcement. Spent the morning poking at the new Admin API endpoints. Big step for automating team onboarding/offboarding.
Quick first impressions:
**Pros:**
* `POST /api/v1/groups` and `PATCH /api/v1/groups/{id}` are solid. Can now fully script group creation and Vault access assignment.
* `DELETE /api/v1/groups/{id}` works as expected, clean cleanup.
* The new `GET` endpoints for `Invite`s and `Group`s make audit scripting much easier.
**Cons / Gotchas:**
* Still can't fully automate a user invite *and* group assignment in one seamless flow for new hires. Have to create the invite, then adjust group membership after they accept. A bit clunky.
* Would love to see webhook support for events like user deactivations to trigger our internal scripts.
Overall, a good update for infra-as-code folks. Makes our SCIM workaround less necessary for some tasks. Anyone else started building with it yet? Curious about real-world use cases.
