Pipedrive's 'essential' plan doesn't include team management. That's a basic feature!

Just got a quote from Pipedrive for a small team. Their "Essential" plan looks cheap until you realize it's essentially a single-player mode. Want to manage user permissions, set team goals, or even get basic visibility into who's doing what? That'll be the "Advanced" plan, please.

Here's the "gotcha" breakdown:

* **Team Management:** Locked to Advanced tier and above. The Essential plan gives you user seats, but they're just isolated silos. No team pipelines, no shared views, no role-based access. It's like buying seats to a concert where everyone gets their own soundproof booth.
* **"Essential" vs. Reality:** Their own sales pitch says the plan is for "small teams that need to organize their sales pipeline." How do you organize a *team* pipeline without team features? It's a semantic shell game.
* **The Price Jump:** Essential is ~$15/user/month. Advanced is ~$30. So the actual cost for a functioning team is double what the headline advertises.

Has anyone else hit this? I'm curious if their negotiation on renewal is any better, or if they just point to the feature matrix and shrug. For a tool built around pipeline visibility, they're awfully good at hiding the real cost of collaboration.
