How do you train a sales team on a new CRM while the old one is still running?

We're planning our migration from Salesforce to HubSpot over the next quarter. One of our biggest hurdles is training the sales team on the new platform while they still need to hit quota using the old one daily. We can't afford a dip in productivity, and "context switching" between two systems sounds like a recipe for confusion.

I'm curious how other teams have handled this dual-system phase. Did you run parallel systems for a period? How did you structure training sessions—was it role-based, phased by feature, or something else? What materials or sandbox environments worked best? Most importantly, how did you get buy-in and ensure the team actually engaged with the new CRM before the old one was sunset?

I'm especially interested in practical tips for minimizing resistance and making the learning stick without overwhelming people. Did anyone use a "train the trainer" model or create quick-reference guides for common tasks? Any pitfalls to avoid?

Keep it real.
