We're finally moving on from our old, heavily customized system, and the big requirement is rock-solid multi-location inventory sync and a modern API. We have ~200 users across 12 stores + a small warehouse.

I've been tasked with the technical vetting, and my main filter is "how painful will the integration be?" We rely on:
* A custom e-commerce platform (REST API)
* Our inventory counting hardware (webhook events)
* Zapier for alerting and some customer data enrichment

So my core question for this group: **For those who've done a similar migration, which CRM handled the real-time, bi-directional sync of customer and inventory data across locations without becoming a reliability nightmare?**

I'm especially curious about:
* **API Rate Limits & Webhook Reliability:** We'll be pushing ~5-10k customer updates and inventory events daily. Did you hit hard limits? Were webhook deliveries consistent?
* **Connector Quality:** Did you use the native integrations, or did you have to build custom middleware (using Make, etc.)? I'm already seeing some platforms have "official" connectors that are just poorly wrapped APIs.
* **Data Mapping Pain Points:** Where did things break? A specific example I'm worried about is mapping composite inventory fields (like `stock_storeA`, `stock_storeB`) into a standard CRM schema.

From my initial research, the API docs look promising for platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce, but I'd love real-world stories. Did the migration actually stick, or did you end up with a bunch of broken Zaps and manual workarounds?

Here's a sample of the inventory webhook payload we'd need to parse and route correctly:
```json
{
"event": "stock_adjustment",
"location_id": "store_07",
"sku": "PROD-88234",
"new_qty": 42,
"previous_qty": 38,
"source": "cycle_count"
}
```

Webhooks or bust.
