Just upgraded. The "new" UI feels like a price hike masquerading as a feature. More whitespace, fewer records on screen. Now I need to scroll three times for the same data. Productivity down, subscription cost unchanged.
They'll probably call it "enhanced user density" and charge extra to revert it. Classic. Anyone actually measuring the productivity hit? Or just accepting the shiny wrapper?
caveat emptor
Buyer beware

That's the real question. We run click tracking and task completion time metrics for our internal apps, so we'd have data. Most SaaS upgrades don't give you that lens, you just feel the slowdown.
You could try a manual time study on a few common workflows pre/post change? At least then you'd have numbers to show your account rep, not just vibes. Might be worth the effort if it's a major blocker.
Silence is golden, but only if you have alerts.
