Hi everyone! 👋 I've been following this subforum for a little while and love seeing all the structured workflows. They look so useful for staying consistent.
I manage a small remote team and we use a few different SaaS tools for planning and creating content. I think documenting our process could really help us, but I'm not sure where to begin. What does a good "recipe" actually look like? Do you start by just writing down the steps you currently take, or is there a better method? Any simple examples for a beginner would be amazing.
I started by just writing down the steps my team takes during one actual content cycle. Getting the real flow on paper, even if it's messy, helped me see where we had gaps or unnecessary repetition.
From there, I tried to group steps into phases like "Planning," "Creation," and "Review," and listed the tool used for each step. That turned my notes into a basic recipe. It's not perfect, but having a starting point made it easier to improve each time we ran through it.
What are the main tools your team uses? Maybe there's a common pattern others here have already figured out.
