We just switched from our old CDP to Segment. Our historical events backfill went fine, but now our tools (like Mixpanel and our internal warehouse) are getting duplicate events for new user actions. It seems like both the old and new CDP are sending events?

Our setup: we kept the old CDP live for a week during the cutover, but we've shut it down now. The duplicates are still appearing. Could this be a timing issue with the backfill? Or maybe our downstream connectors weren't properly re-wired to only listen to the new source?

Still learning.
