Hey everyone 👋

I've been deep in the weeds evaluating analytics platforms for a new mobile app project, and I keep hitting the same wall: **pricing pages are almost useless.** They love to say "contact sales" or show you a pretty "per MAU" starting tier that balloons once you need anything real.

I'm looking for a top-of-funnel platform (think product analytics, user journeys, feature adoption) specifically for mobile. My must-haves are solid session replay, funnel analysis, and robust push notification campaign analytics.

Could we crowdsource some real-world pricing data? I'll start with what I've gathered so far (all monthly, estimated for ~50k MAU):

* **Platform A:** Starts at $300/mo for their "Growth" plan. Their "per MAU" model seems straightforward, but I've heard from a colleague that adding **data retention** beyond 12 months tripled their cost. Also, query limits on their "unlimited" dashboards were a surprise.
* **Platform B:** "Free" up to 10k events, then it's ~$0.0015 per event. This gets tricky fast with auto-captured events in a mobile SDK. A single user session can generate 50+ events easily. At scale, this per-event model felt like it had more hidden momentum than their per-MAU competitors.
* **Platform C:** Charges per **tracked user** (not MAU), which is a different ballgame. Also, their "enterprise" plan, required for **advanced push segmentation**, started at a $5k/month commitment.

My specific questions:
* What are the real **event caps** on "unlimited" plans?
* Are **mobile-specific features** (like in-app message triggers, deep linking analytics) gated behind top tiers?
* What's the actual cost adder for things like **data warehouses export** or **SSO**?
* Any platforms that genuinely shine for mobile without a crazy premium?

I'd love to hear your experiences, especially if you've gone through a pricing audit or migration recently. The devil is truly in the details here.

Happy testing!
