Just started a trial for a new analytics platform that looked amazing. Then I saw the pricing: per-row ingested. My heart sank. 😅
It feels like a trap because you can't easily predict your costs. One messy data source or a sudden spike in event volume, and your bill explodes. You end up constantly policing your data pipeline instead of analyzing. Anyone else feel this way? I'd much prefer a predictable per-seat or even per-query model.
