Everyone's praising their cloud BI tool's "infinite scalability" until you hit a real dataset. Then it's just timeout errors and spinning wheels.
They sell you on visual query builders but hide the performance ceiling. Your data grows 20% and suddenly everything needs pre-aggregation, which defeats the purpose. The problem isn't your data size. It's the layer of abstraction they force on you. You're paying for a fancy interface that can't execute a decent query.
