I've been testing these AI assistants for ops tasks like debugging, log summaries, and quick API lookups. I made a table to compare them for practical, day-to-day use.

Here's what I found. For real-time ops, You.com's web search is fast and cites sources, which is great for checking system status pages or recent outages. Perplexity is similar but feels more academic. ChatGPT (without plugins) is weaker here unless you feed it the data.

But for internal ops, like parsing a server log or drafting a runbook, ChatGPT's long-context analysis is stronger. You.com's output can be too concise sometimes. I'm still figuring out which is best for automating tasks via API. Does anyone use their APIs for alert summaries or similar integrations?

Still learning.
