Hi everyone! I'm pretty new to Writesonic and I'm using it mostly for social media posts and blog outlines. I've noticed something I'm struggling with.

The outputs often feel a bit... over-the-top? Like, they're packed with words like "incredible," "ultimate," "amazing," and "revolutionary." It makes the copy sound less authentic to me. I just want it to sound more natural and conversational.

Is there a setting or a specific command I should be using to tone this down? I've tried adding "write in a straightforward style" to my prompts, but it only helps a little. Any tips from people who've figured this out would be so appreciated! 😊

Yeah, I've run into the same thing with a different tool. "Straightforward style" was my first try, too. What sometimes works for me is being hyper-specific in the negative, like adding "avoid using marketing superlatives like amazing, revolutionary, or ultimate" right in the prompt. It's a bit of a workaround.

Have you tried feeding it an example of the exact tone you want? I've had mixed results with that, but copying a short paragraph of your own writing and asking it to match that style can help steer it away from the over-the-top defaults.
