I just got access to Windsurf and I'm a bit overwhelmed. I'm a full stack dev (React, Node, Postgres) but new to AI-driven IDEs.
I've seen the promo videos, but they jump straight to advanced features. Is there a good 'day one' checklist or setup guide for someone like me? I'm thinking:
- Essential extensions to install first
- Which agent modes to try for basic CRUD work
- Any config tweaks for JavaScript/TypeScript projects
I want to avoid bad habits from the start. What did you wish you knew when you first opened it?
