Just got the beta invite. Played with it for twenty minutes.
My immediate thoughts:
* "Styles" is just a fancy wrapper for "here's some different preset tone/pacing adjustments." It's not new tech, it's a new UI for old parameters.
* The "Conversational" style sounds like the old "increase speech variance" slider with a different name.
* No mention of how this affects your character quota. Bet it's the same 1:1 cost, which for longer projects adds up fast.
* Where's the real control? Can I fine-tune these "styles"? Or is it another vendor black box where we pay for the privilege of testing their half-baked features?
Feels like they're prioritizing shiny new beta features over fixing core issues. Still waiting on better project organization and transparent, itemized usage data.
