Another day, another monitoring layer. So W&B can now ping Slack when your custom metric goes sideways. Great.
Set up a webhook alert for when my model's "business value" metric (a hand-wavy composite) drops. It works. Now my team gets spammed with cryptic alerts at 2 AM. The real achievement is shifting the problem from "is the model broken?" to "why is this alert firing?" Classic.
