I’ve been testing Udio for replicating certain production styles and vocal tones. Not looking to copy a track, just capture the overall sound aesthetic of a few modern indie and synthwave artists.
Has anyone gotten consistent results here? I’m hitting walls:
- The style tags and reference tracks only get you so far.
- It often drifts into generic “genre” output instead of the specific artist’s texture.
- Where’s the line between “vibe” and infringement? Using artist names in prompts feels risky.
