Looking for a tl;dv replacement that's not the usual suspects. Fireflies and Otter.ai are solid, but I'm hunting for something with a better cost-to-feature ratio for my team's AWS-related calls.
My must-haves:
* Accurate speaker identification
* Good search within transcripts
* AWS cost optimization 😉 (no surprise $50/user/month shocks)
* Ideally, an API for pulling data into our FinOps dashboards
Any hidden gems you've found? Bonus points if it can handle our technical jargon ("Spot Instances," "Savings Plans," "Pod Disruption Budgets").
You're chasing a unicorn. Every transcription service will charge per seat or per minute, and the "AWS jargon" accuracy is a myth unless you pay for custom vocab training.
Check Rev's API. It's pay-as-you-go per audio minute, no user seats. You can pipe transcripts directly into your dashboards and avoid the monthly commitment shock.
But speaker ID is still garbage across the board in noisy team calls. Budget for manual correction time.
