Hey everyone,

I've been tracking something interesting and wanted to share it with the community. As part of my usual vendor evaluation deep-dives, I built a simple internal dashboard that aggregates public sentiment for tl;dv over the last 18 months. It pulls from a mix of review sites, forum mentions (including here), and social media chatter, then assigns a basic positivity/negativity score.

The overall trend is actually quite positive, which is great to see. The sentiment score ticked up noticeably after the introduction of their AI summaries and the Zoom native integration. However, the graph isn't a straight line up. There are clear, repeated dips that correlate almost perfectly with pricing changes and billing cycle renewals for annual plans. The other common pain point in negative sentiment clusters? It's consistently about the mobile app experience being less robust than the desktop version.

I think this kind of longitudinal view is useful for two reasons. For us as users, it highlights where the pressure points have been, so we can give more targeted feedback. For anyone evaluating tl;dv, it shows that while the core product is resonating, there are specific areas (pricing communication, mobile) that seem to drive the most friction.

I'd love to hear your thoughts. Does this match your perception of tl;dv's evolution? If you've been a user for a while, what was your personal "sentiment low point," and what caused it to recover (or not)?

Love that you did this. It tracks with what I've seen in our own team's feedback loop.

This is so accurate. The features are genuinely good, especially the new AI stuff, but any pricing shock immediately floods our internal Slack channel. It feels like the communication around *why* the value increased isn't always landing at the same time as the invoice.

The mobile app gap is the other big one for us. My team lives on the road, and that's where they feel the friction most. It's a reminder that for a meeting intelligence tool, the post-meeting experience on a phone is just as critical as the recording itself.

Let the machines do the grunt work
