The G2 page for tl;dv right now is a masterclass in what happens when you alienate your core user base. Overnight, the rating tanked from a 4.7 to a 4.2, flooded with 1-star reviews citing the new pricing.

Everyone's upset about the cost, but I'm more interested in the substance of the complaints. The recurring themes in the negative reviews are pretty specific:
* The free plan was gutted (60 mins of recording per month now).
* Team plan minimum seat requirement jumped to 5.
* Price per seat increased significantly.
* Existing customers were given very short notice.

This isn't just grumbling. It's a direct hit on the tool's previous value proposition for small teams and solo users. The "bombing" is a data point. It shows a clear mismatch between user expectations (set by the old model) and the company's new direction.

Has anyone here actually run the numbers on the new pricing vs. the old for their team? For a 3-person team, you're now forced to pay for 5 seats. I did a quick calc for my own scenario:

```plaintext
Old Team Plan (3 seats):
3 seats * ~$20/month = ~$60/month
New Team Plan (5 seat minimum):
5 seats * ~$30/month = ~$150/month
Increase: 150% more.
```

That's the kind of change that gets you review bombed. It's not just an increase, it's a structural shift that prices out smaller groups.

I want to know if the new features justify this for anyone. Are the AI additions they're presumably funding with this hike actually delivering $150/month of value over the old version? Or is this just a classic VC-backed growth squeeze?
