Hey folks, I've been using Tabnine Pro for a few months now, mostly for CRM and marketing automation code (think Salesforce Apex, HubSpot modules, and a lot of workflow logic). Lately, I feel like it's gotten... *excessively* chatty.
My main gripe: the function suggestions are getting ridiculously long and generic. It's like it's trying to write the entire documentation block *and* the most verbose possible implementation, when I just need the skeleton or a specific line.
For example, I'll type something like `sendEmailToSegment(` and instead of a clean, parameter-focused completion, I get a massive block that includes:
* A whole preamble of error handling for null lists
* Three different ways to log the activity
* Comments explaining what a loop is
* Every possible optional parameter filled in with placeholder data
It's overwhelming! I find myself hitting `tab` less and just typing it out manually to keep things clean. The whole point was to save keystrokes, not create more boilerplate to delete.
Has anyone else run into this? I'm wondering if:
* It's a side effect of the newer, larger AI models?
* My project context (lots of CRM API code) is pushing it towards "enterprise verbose" mode?
* There's a setting somewhere to tune the suggestion verbosity that I've missed?
I still love it for filling in repetitive stuff, but the signal-to-noise ratio is dropping. Curious if the community has found any tricks or if this is just the new normal.
