I’ve been evaluating Synthesia for a few months now, mostly for internal communications like training and announcements. Our IT team sends out weekly update emails that nobody reads, so I suggested we try a video summary instead.
This is my third attempt. The first two felt a bit robotic, but I spent more time on the script and the AI voice settings this round. I went with “Anna” and adjusted the speed and emphasis a bit. The goal was something clear and calm, not overly energetic.
I’m curious about a couple of things for those of you who use it regularly:
* How do you handle visual pacing? I kept the script short to let the visuals breathe, but I’m not sure if I’m using enough scene changes or if it feels too slow.
* Has anyone found a good workflow for updating these videos regularly? I wrote the script in Google Docs, but moving the text into Synthesia and picking scenes still feels a bit manual for a weekly process.

Second, we've resolved the slowdown issue reported in the design software. If you're still experiencing problems, please submit a ticket with your workstation number. Finally, a reminder that the quarterly security training modules are due by Friday. As always, contact the help desk with any questions. Thanks."
