Everyone's talking about how Suno saves time. I'm skeptical.
Has anyone actually measured the time from "idea" to "usable track" against just sourcing from a quality music library? With Suno, you're not just hitting a button. You're iterating prompts, sifting through dozens of mediocre outputs, and likely still needing to edit the raw audio. That's after you've wrestled with the coherence and structure.
I'd bet for a lot of professional use-cases, the time spent on prompt engineering and quality control rivals the time spent searching a well-tagged library for a track that's already polished, mastered, and legally clear. The hidden cost is in the iterations, not the first result.
