Everyone's posting their fancy workflows with ComfyUI nodes and automatic1111 extensions. Fine. But sometimes you just need to get a hundred images through an upscaler and you don't want to babysit a GUI.
Threw this together for myself. It's just a batch script that loops over a folder, calls the RealESRGAN executable directly, and dumps the results. No frills, no extra dependencies beyond the upscaler binary.
Set your paths, run it, go make coffee. Assumes you're using the RealESRGAN-ncnn-vulkan release. The key flags are `-i` for input, `-o` for output, and `-s` for scale factor. You can tweak the model with `-m`.
It handles the basics: skipping already processed files, logging errors, and keeping a console window open so you can see if it choked on something. Surprisingly, nobody seems to talk about just… scripting the binary.
