I'm trying to get into Stable Diffusion and followed a guide to install Automatic1111 on my M2 MacBook Air. I'm using the --apple-metal flag for the M2 GPU.
It starts up fine, but after generating maybe 2 or 3 images, the whole thing just freezes and I have to force quit. Sometimes I get a spinning beach ball, other times the web UI just becomes unresponsive.
I'm on macOS Sonoma. Has anyone else run into this on Apple Silicon? Is it a memory issue? I'd really like to get this running locally instead of relying on a cloud service.
