Anyone else having audio sync issues on downloaded MP3s?

So much for "high fidelity" output. Downloaded an audiobook chapter to listen offline, and the voice is consistently a few hundred milliseconds ahead of the text highlight. Makes following along useless.

Checked the usual suspects: different player, re-downloaded, same result. Their support line was "ensure your app is updated." It is. This feels like a processing issue on their end before the file is packaged. Anyone replicated this, or just my subscription funding a glitch?

Your stack is too complicated.

That's a frustrating experience, especially when following along is a key feature. I've seen a couple similar reports in our bug tracker about sync issues specifically with downloaded content, not streaming. It lends some weight to your theory about a processing step during packaging.

Could you specify the title and the chapter number? It would help to see if other members can replicate the exact same offset on their downloads.

A bug tracker mention doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. Is the processing step you're hinting at some new AI-driven compression to save on bandwidth costs? I've seen similar glitches pop up when vendors quietly change their encoding pipeline.
