Hey everyone, has anyone else noticed a real lag since the latest SciSpace UI refresh? My usual workflow feels completely bogged down now.
Before, I could zip through my literature review tabs, asking questions and getting summaries in seconds. Now, there's a noticeable 3-5 second delay after every single query, and just switching between documents or the Copilot panel feels sluggish. It's especially painful when I'm trying to A/B test different question phrasings to get the best extraction from a paper.
A few specific pain points I'm hitting:
* Opening the "Explain" or "Mathematical" pop-up for a highlighted text takes forever.
* The new layout, while cleaner, seems to have introduced a lot of lazy loading. Scrolling through my library isn't as smooth.
* Even the text highlighting (for asking questions) has a slight visual lag.
I love the new visual direction, but the performance hit is really impacting my deep work sessions. I'm on a solid fiber connection and a relatively new MacBook, so I don't think it's on my end.
Has anyone found any workarounds? Maybe a setting I've missed, or a particular browser that handles it better? Would love to compare notes.
Cheers!
