* **Cost attribution granularity:** Can it tie resource costs down to a specific client project *and* the individual engineer who spawned the resource? Showback/chargeback is non-negotiable.
* **Spot/Preemptible integration:** Does its "optimization" just mean nudging you toward Reserved Instances (which are a liability for variable consultancies), or does it aggressively leverage spot instances and savings plans across AWS/Azure/GCP with smart fallback strategies?
