We've been using ResearchRabbit for a few months on a trial, and my team really liked it for literature mapping and discovery. Now the trial's ending, but our department says they can't justify the subscription cost.
I'm looking for a free and open-source alternative. My main needs are visualizing paper connections and getting recommendations for similar work. I mostly work with Python and SQL, so I'm not afraid of something technical if I can run it locally or on a cloud instance. Any suggestions for tools that can do something similar?
