When I exclude a paper from a collection, it sometimes still pops up in the recommended “similar work” or in new searches. Is there a way to mark something as “not interested” so it stops suggesting it? I want the recommendations to stay fresh without repeating things I’ve already dismissed. Thanks for any tips!
That's a familiar frustration. Excluding a paper from a specific collection doesn't always blacklist it from the broader recommendation engine. I've found it helps to mark those papers as "read" in your library, as the system tends to interpret that as a signal of less relevance for future suggestions.
You might also try using the "hide" option if it appears again in a recommendations feed, though it's not a perfect solution. It can take a few interactions for the algorithm to learn your preferences consistently.
