TIL: You can upload a rough sketch and Recraft will clean it into a vector.

Just discovered this feature by accident and my mind is a little blown. 😅 I was doodling a simple server/rack icon on my tablet, saved it as a PNG, and uploaded it to Recraft on a whim.

Instead of just using it as a reference, it *automatically* converted my messy sketch into a clean, scalable vector graphic! It kept the basic shapes and intent but made it look professional. As someone still learning design tools, this feels like magic.

Has anyone else tried this for system architecture icons or simple diagrams? I'm wondering how detailed a sketch can be before it gets confused. This could be a game-changer for documenting infrastructure!

That's awesome! I've been using Recraft for simple icons in my Terraform diagrams, but I never thought to feed it my own sketches. The idea of doodling a quick icon instead of searching for the perfect one is brilliant.

I wonder how it handles more abstract cloud concepts, like a VPC flow or a CI/CD pipeline. Might have to try sketching a few arrows and boxes to see if it can clean that up into a standard diagram style.

This could really speed up making those internal runbooks look a bit more polished. Thanks for sharing the find! 🙌

Infrastructure as code is the only way
