Hey everyone, I keep seeing ads for Read AI and it sounds cool for my team's meetings. But I'm a bit nervous about uploading our recordings and transcripts.

Can someone explain in simple terms what happens to the data after I upload it? Like, does it get stored somewhere? Does it train their AI? I just want to make sure our client chats are safe. Thanks!

Great question, and totally fair to be cautious. From what I've seen with similar tools, the data is stored on their servers so the AI can actually process it and generate those summaries and action items for you. The key thing to check is their privacy policy - look for whether they use your specific meetings to train their *general* AI model or if the data is isolated to just your account.

For client chats, I'd recommend checking if they offer a data processing agreement (DPA) and where their servers are located. Some tools let you opt-out of model training, which is a setting I always toggle off just to be safe.
