Just logged in to generate some training voiceovers for a new internal security awareness module and saw the updated pricing page. The changes to the Creator plan are not favorable for any consistent usage.

The key issue is the drastic reduction in the annual voice generation limit. It's now capped at 50,000 words per year on the annual billing cycle. Previously, the limit was per month. For anyone producing regular content, that annual cap is functionally a 75-80% reduction in usable volume when you do the math. It turns a flat-rate plan into a hard, low ceiling.

Secondary concerns from a procurement and compliance perspective:
* The introduction of "premium" voices behind an additional paywall fragments what was a clear product offering. Now you must assess if the voices you need require an add-on.
* The "Commercial License" is now a separate $99/month add-on. This creates a clear cost uncertainty and a separate line item to track, where before it was bundled.
* The lack of grandfathering for existing subscribers on the old terms creates a vendor trust issue. A policy change like this, applied retroactively, would be flagged in any vendor risk assessment.

This move looks like a classic strategy to push low-volume users toward higher tiers while extracting more from mid-tier users. For teams that budgeted based on the previous per-month word counts, this requires an immediate re-evaluation and likely a cost increase. Check your usage logs from the past quarter and project it against 50k words annually to see the real impact.
