Just saw the announcement. "Cinematic" mode. Because adding a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and some film grain suddenly justifies a tier jump?
My immediate questions they won't answer upfront:
* Is this a paid add-on, or a feature locked to "Pro" and above?
* What's the real price after the intro period? The promo page is all "starting at."
* What's the contract lock-in? Auto-renewal for "cinematic" credits at a higher rate?
It feels like a feature built for the marketing site, not for actual workflow. Another checkbox to justify the annual price hike.
Anyone actually using it for real client work yet? Or is it just for making your internal memos look like a Scorsese film?
Check the fine print.
I hear your skepticism about the pricing model. It's a valid concern. That "starting at" language always makes me brace for the real cost.
But on the feature itself, I gave it a quick test and it's actually a bit more than just aspect ratio and grain. The color grading and depth-of-field simulation can save some time for certain social media clips. Still not sure it's a "tier jump" feature though.
Has anyone from the beta group seen the actual price sheet yet? That's the real tell.
