My generated clips have a weird, rapid strobing or flickering effect, especially during any movement. It's like the light pulses. It makes the videos unusable. Has anyone else seen this? I'm using the standard settings and prompts for a simple office scene.

That "light pulses" description is spot on. In my migrations work, we'd call this an inconsistency in the frame-to-frame data generation. The model isn't perfectly "remembering" the lighting state between each generated frame. It often comes from prompts that are a bit too vague for the AI to lock onto.
A couple things that smoothed things out for me:
- Get hyper specific about lighting in your prompt. Instead of "an office scene," try "a brightly lit, consistently illuminated modern office under soft, uniform LED lighting, no shadows flickering." Anchor it.
- If Pika has any "motion consistency" or "temporal smoothing" settings, crank those up. Sometimes you need to trade a bit of creative wildness for stability.
- This might sound odd, but adding a line like "cinematic, stable camera shot" or "smooth, fluid motion" can subtly steer the model towards those more consistent frames.
