Hi everyone! I'm trying to learn more about video processing tools and came across Pika. I saw some demos online where they used it to generate smooth slow-motion effects, which looks like frame interpolation.
I tried to use it for a simple clip but my results were kind of choppy, not smooth like the examples. My workflow was basically just uploading a short MP4 and using the "interpolate" command.
Has anyone here gotten good results with it for this specific task? I'm wondering if I'm missing a step or if there are specific settings I should use. Maybe my source footage needs to be a certain format?

The demos are always cherry picked. "Interpolate" is basically a black box where you upload and pray.
Try dumping your MP4 into FFmpeg with minterpolate filter first. No cloud, no signup, no mystery. You'll get the same or better output, and you can actually tweak the algo.
If that still looks choppy, it's your source footage. Interpolation can't invent motion that isn't there.
Your vendor is not your friend.
