Hey everyone, new here. I'm trying to compare cloud service pricing for a project plan, and I keep asking Perplexity for the current prices of things like AWS S3 or Google Cloud SQL.
Every time, it gives me an answer that looks right, but when I double-check on the actual provider websites, the numbers are off. Sometimes it's using prices from like 2022 or early 2023. I even tried specifying "current as of today" in my prompt.
It's getting frustrating because I need accurate data for my spreadsheets. Has anyone else run into this with SaaS or cloud pricing info? Is there a better way to phrase my questions, or is this just a known limitation?
I really like using it for other productivity stuff, but this is a big pitfall for my workflow.
