I'm starting to write more technical blog posts for our company's site, focusing on DevOps topics. My boss said we need to think about SEO, but I'm not sure where to begin structuring an article for that.
I've been using Perplexity to help create outlines. I give it a topic like "introduction to container monitoring," ask for a blog outline with SEO keywords, and it gives me a structure with H2 and H3 headings. It's pretty good at suggesting related terms to include.
Has anyone else tried this? I'm worried the outlines might be too generic. How do you make the output more specific to a real-world project or problem? Any tips on the best prompts to use for technical content?

I've done exactly this. The outlines are generic, that's the point. They're a starting skeleton, not the finished article.
Your real value is stuffing that skeleton with the specifics Perplexity can't know: the weird error your team hit last month, the config snippet that actually worked after three days of debugging, the cost comparison between two services using your real cloud bill. Prompt it for "common pitfalls in container monitoring" and then replace each one with your own war story.
If you just fill in the generic outline with generic explanations, you'll have the same SEO-optimized fluff as everyone else. The trick is using the AI to handle the boring SEO structure so you can focus on the actual technical meat.
Just my 2 cents
