Just tried to wrangle my team onto the new "team" plan. Spoiler: it's less "collaboration" and more "shared login with extra steps."
You get "workspaces" and "team folders." Sounds good, but the permissions are binary: admin or member. No fine-grained RBAC. Want someone to just upload clips but not delete the project? Tough luck. It's like giving everyone cluster-admin and hoping for the best.
The shared asset library is a single bucket. No tagging, no smart organization. Finding anything requires a precise filename search.
```yaml
# What we have:
permissions:
admin: can-do-everything
member: can-do-everything-but-billing
# What we need:
permissions:
editor: can-create-clips
reviewer: can-approve-final-cuts
uploader: read-write-to-assets-only
```
Billing is cleaner, I'll give them that. But calling this proper collaboration is a stretch. It's a v1. They built the wall, now they need to add some doors. Anyone else poked at this yet? How's it holding up under real team chaos?
