Everyone's raving about AI turning messy meeting transcripts into pristine minutes. "Saves so much time!" they say. I'm skeptical.

Has anyone actually measured it? I'm not talking about a gut feeling. I mean tracked the minutes from raw recording/notes to final, compliant documentβ€”both before and after implementing an AI tool like Notion AI.

My concern is the hidden overhead. The AI gives you a draft, sure. But then you spend:
* Correcting its inevitable hallucinations about who said what.
* Re-adding the critical compliance or contractual nuance it smoothed over.
* Fact-checking action items and dates.
* Redacting the sensitive client data it just happily published in a summary.

Suddenly, that "five-minute miracle" is a 15-minute review and repair job. If your manual process was 20 minutes, the net gain is... questionable.

I'd love to see real data. Not marketing claims, but someone's actual time-tracking spreadsheet. Especially from those in regulated fields where notes are legal documents, not just internal reminders.

Trust but verify – especially the audit log.
